We're Going to the Zoo!

Join the Mom’s and Dad’s Bible Study group as we take our kids to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC on Tuesday, June 23rd. If we have 15 or more attending, we can get the group rate of $8 per adult, $6 for children 3 – 12, and under 3 is free. We will meet at the Main Entrance at 10am and enter as one group, so please bring cash for your entrance fee. Also, bring a lunch for your gang and plan on eating in the picnic area. Contact Pam Horack at 803-831-1929 or p_horack@bellsouth.net by Sunday June 14th if you plan on attending so we can make reservations in advance. Property Committee Request

The Property Committee is busy with the new picnic shelter and needs your help. They are selling personalized tiles to add to the shelter and raise money for building costs. Those who purchase one will get to paint their tile, which brings me to this request. If you have any glass or plastic baby food jars with lids, they are needed for the paint. Please bring them to the church beginning this Sunday, and thereafter, and put them in the church office labeled for Pat McNulty. Thanks for your help!

Games Night Update

This is a busy weekend for everyone! Since there is so much going on, and we have a really low turnout, we are cancelling games night for this weekend. We will be planning another get-together for June - it may be games, it may be something else fun. Keep watching here for more info.

Also, remember that today is the National Day of Prayer. The National Day of Prayer Task Force's mission is to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, mobilizing the Christian community to intercede for America and its leadership in the seven centers of power: Government, Military, Media, Business, Education, Church and Family.
